I don’t know what, if anything, these diary entries reveal about the state of my subconscious mind but I would strongly recomend keeping a record of one’s dreams. What may seem impenetrable or surreal on waking may read like beautiful, cathartic truth after a gap of a week, a month, or thirty years.

The above is taken from the original CD booklet which was released 20 years ago on the Astral Girl label and thanks to Nick Graff and Pete Wilkinson at AV8 its now available on vinyl. As much as I welcome it’s return, I also feel a little exposed  – knowing that a new generation of listeners will encounter this literal record of my darker, occasionally humerous, and often questionable subconscious.
